“We will definitely be booking again”
First of all I would like to say ,if you are considering a wine tour in the Okanagan Valley region , look no further. Ron and Jill from Vine to Wine Tours are the very best and I sincerely mean that.
My brother and our wives booked a tour upon the recommendation of our daughter and son-in-law. They said it was incredible and they weren’t kidding. We had one of the best days ever.
Ron picked us up in the morning from our hotel and within minutes of meeting we knew we picked the right company. Ron is tops in his field and very knowledgable when it comes to wine. He made us feel very welcome and explained the days itinerary. Initially I was thinking that it may be a little intimidating as we did not know a whole lot about different types of wine. This was not the case, instead we had a very laid-back, educational and fun filled day. Ron took us to four great wineries and we experienced some of the best tasting wines in the Okanagan. We walked through vineyards, seen various types of grapes and got to understand some of the processes involved in winemaking.
At Bartier Brothers Winery we sat under a vine covered pergola while Jill served us wine and a gourmet tasting meal followed by a mouth watering dessert. . The atmosphere and food was truly amazing.
Ron and Jill are just two very nice, down to earth people. I think they put alot of effort into each tour to make sure their customers are completely satisfied.
We are looking forward to another trip next year to the Okanagan Valley and will definitely be booking Vine to Wine Tours again ….. David

This was my second consecutive year having a “Wine Experience” with Ron and I can’t say enough good things to describe how awesome it is each time.
The first year, it was just my wife and I with Ron (and lunch with Jill, who is also an incredible human being), where we visited 4 wineries. We met the wine makers, walked the vineyards and even had some tastings in the fermenting rooms with them. The lunch we had at Bartier Bros Winery (in the vineyard!) with Don Bartier and what a treat that was! The day was so amazing that I had to bring my family back to experience this with us.
This year was my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary, so we thought we’d take them for the ‘Decanter’ tour, complete with a 3-course lunch and wine pairing at Backyard Farm. There were 7 of us in total and the day was other-worldly. Everyone in our group was speechless on more that one occasion during the experience. We went to three wineries, which were top notch and so were their wines.
And then there’s Backyard Farm and Chris, the chef. Wow! I have enjoyed gourmet foods all over the world and I am pressed to remember a meal that was that amazing, not to mention the private collection wines that Ron flawlessly paired with the meal (seriously, incredible). I could have been hit by a bus after lunch and died a happy man. No exaggeration that Chris and his wife are doing something special at that place and I am going back next year with more folks to share it with.
Needless to say, my parents were blown away – big time. This was ‘one of the best days of their life’ – their words.
If you’re looking for a booze cruise, this is not for you. However, if you are looking for an education and a day with one of the most knowledgable wine experts I have ever met, this is going to be a day to remember. Not to mention that Ron is a special human being and just a really good guy.
